Medicine walk
turning to the more-than-human-world as a guide
30. June 2026, 4- 7 pm CET
online and on the land wherever you are
What is a medicine walk?
A medicine walk is a simultaneously simple and powerful tool to find answers to our questions from a different place than your mind.
During a medicine walk, you go into nature with a predefined question that is moving you, and open your senses to the more-than-human-world around you. You allow yourself to be moved, touched and stirred, following your impulses and instincts.
Upon returning, you share your story in the circle of other humans.
The story-telling, the reflection of others, and the use of other reflective tools like journalling or intuitive drawing support you in the integration and sense making of your experience.
This is for you if:
You feel out of rhythm with yourself and long to find your way back to a more grounded, connected state.
You’re facing a transition or decision in your life, but you can’t seem to find the right way forward, no matter how hard you try.
You are holding a concrete question and you would like space to explore it differently.
You are stuck in your head, while something deep inside feels unheard.
You sense that your usual ways of figuring things out aren’t working for what you’re currently moving through.
You want to step into a more alive, reciprocal relationship with the natural world.
You prefer a slow, inward pace over a “quick fix.”

“Jesslyn has a unique ability to tickle your senses and invite you into the greater mystery of the natural world while staying grounded at the same time. I love the combination of depth, gentles and groundedness that she held in the workshop. I was able to bring more clarity to a challenge that has been with me for a long time through my solo walk in Berlin. I fully recommend Jesslyn’s work if you feel stuck and need new approaches to solving any problem you may have!”

More on medicine walks
The art of wandering in nature is as old as humanity itself.
Throughout history, people have been venturing out into the wild in pursuit of themselves, returning with new direction and purpose for themselves or their community.
Nature as a guide is always available to us. She has a unique ability to open us, stir our senses and to connect us more deeply with ourselves – to that, which is hidden beneath the surface of our regular waking mind.
No matter whether you live in a big city or in untamed nature, you can draw on the more-than-human-world around you as a guide for any questions or challenges you may be experiencing in your life.
All you need to do is to open your senses.
